This is a Contè drawing on Paper that I did of Nainu, a folk singer of Rajasthan whom I met while visiting Jodhpur. He had a lovely voice which resonated through the majestic fort of Mehrangarh.

Nehru Centre is hosting an exhibition of Paintings - Art Fusion Show - 2009 featuring artists from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Two of my paintings are selected for the same. The show is open from March 3rd to March 9th, 11 am - 8 pm daily. Venue - Nehru Centre, Discovery of India Bldg, Dr. Annie Besant Marg, Worli, Mumbai
Education: Diploma in Applied Art (1993) from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya,Pune,First Class First, Standing third in the Order of Merit.
Experience: I am working as free lance artist in the field of Illustrations and Paintings.
I have richly illustrated Sulabh Ramayan and Sulabh Mahabharata by Late Shri Raja Mangalvedhekar. These illustrations were exhibited in Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai (2002). Besides these, I have illustrated numerous other books for various publications.
Have co-authored and illustrated two books in the series “Methods and Techniques” - Colour Pencils and Pastel.
Participated in Art Fusion Shows in 2007, 2008, and 2009 at Nehru Center, Mumbai.
I am a member of the Representational Artists of Pune and have participated in the first show (March 2007) of the group at Sangraha Art Plaza, Pune.
